Course & Curriculum

BPT- Bachelor of Physiotherapy:

  • Admission is open to both male and female candidates, criteria laid down by OTPT Council and MUHS is followed for admission.
  • Duration of the course: 4 years + 6 Months internship
  • The College is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik (MUHS Nashik).
  • Annual intake: 40 students.
  • Nationality: Candidate should be citizen of India
  • Age limit: The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
  • Minimum education:10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board. Student shall be medically fit.
  • Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks. Candidate should have passed NEET exam applicable for the current year.
  • Student shall be admitted once in a year.

Code of Conduct & Discipline

  • Timings: 09:30 am to 5:00 pm.
  • A grace time of 10 minutes will be permitted to a student entering clinics late following they will be marked late. 3 late marks will be considered as one day of absenteeism.
  • Payment of fees on time.
  • Incomplete scholarship forms will not be accepted and college will not be responsible for late reception of scholarship.
  • Students with less than 80% attendance will not be eligible to appear for university exams.
  • Students are required to maintain professional dignity by adhering to dress code, wearing lab coat, identity badges in campus for all practical clinical classroom sessions and examinations.
  • Students are required to refrain from wearing accessories like long earrings, flashy bracelets and watches etc. and maintain a neat hairdo.
  • Disciplinary action will be instituted in case students do not adhere to the code of conduct following written reminder.
  • Any student who engages in academic or social misconduct shall be subjected to disciplinary action by appropriate office of the college &/or the student conduct committee. The college has the complete right to withdraw the student from College of Physiotherapy for any lawful reasons.
  • As per the provision of Maharashtra Act XXXIII – “Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act of 1999”, students indulging in ragging can be punished under the Act resulting in suspension from the College.
